Andria Herr

Commissioner Andria Herr was elected and sworn into the Seminole County District 5 Commissioner’s seat in 2020. She is a mom, wife, and dedicated community and business leader. With 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Commissioner Herr has translated her client-focused innovation to a platform of advanced service to the citizens of Seminole County.

Coinciding with her commitment to the community as a District Commissioner, Commissioner Herr remains a frontrunner in the healthcare profession as the Executive Vice President of Client Strategy and Resource Development for Hylant – a full-service insurance brokerage firm.

She has received numerous awards for her strong leadership, including being named one of the “40 under 40” and “Women Who Mean Business” by the Orlando Business Journal as well as the Orlando Women’s Executive Council’s Business Women of the Year.

A strong advocate for public education and healthcare, Commissioner Herr served as chairman of The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools twice and has served on the Board of Directors for The Foundation for Seminole State College. She also chaired a number of additional boards: the Women and Girls Cancer Alliance Board, the Women’s Advisory Board for South Seminole Hospital, and the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce on which she continues to serve. Commissioner Herr also served on the Seminole Action Board; a group dedicated to addressing homelessness in Seminole County. As a commissioner, she is also appointed as the Board of County Commissioners Liaison to Leadership Seminole, Rescue Outreach Mission, and the Seminole County Port Authority.
