The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in a variety of Human Resource functions. This position acts as a resource to employees on HR matters and represents the agency on HR initiatives and programs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resource department.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of CFX HR.
- Provides daily HR support to employees.
- Support HR functions including new company initiatives, day to day follow up and all HR administrative needs.
- Updates and maintains HRIS system.
- Update and maintain HR portal and internal CFX Intranet.
- Assists with the benefit administration and annual enrollment process.
- Assists with recruiting and hiring process including updating job descriptions, job postings, scheduling interviews, performing background checks, and composing offer letters.
- Manages logistics for internal events including training, senior management meetings and various employee events and seminars.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with annual audits and merit process.
- Respond to general email and phone inquiries.
- Coordinates meetings, composes correspondence and documents.
- Create effective working relationships with internal employees and business partners and must work well with many different levels of management.
- Organizes office, updates files and records and acts as Records Administrator for the Human Resource Department.
- Maintains calendar and schedules appointments.
- Coordinates and completes projects which may be of a confidential nature.
- Conducts research, data collection and analysis of information for use in reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Orders and maintains office supplies for the Human Resource Department.
- Proofreads and edits HR documents and reports
- Interacts with Executive team, staff members, consultants and the general public.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills
- Prior experience with HRIS systems.
- Advanced MSOffice Suite proficiency
- Excellent interpersonal skills with capability and desire to work within a collaborative team.

Qualifications
- AA or Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2+ years Human Resources experience.
