Jay Madara

Jay Madara is Senior Vice President at the PGA Tour and previously served as Chief Financial Officer for Golf Channel, a NBC Sports Group network, and its related portfolio of businesses. Madara also previously served Comcast Cable in Philadelphia as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Vice President of Finance at Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales business unit of Comcast Cable.

A certified public accountant by trade, Madara began his professional career with Ernst & Young and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also is a Core Class Fellow of Leadership Philadelphia and a graduate of the FBI Philadelphia Field Office Citizens Academy & Community Partnership Program.

Madara earned a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in Accounting and Finance, where he graduated magna cum laude and also played for the school’s baseball team.
