Joe Nunziata

Joe Nunziata is the Co-CEO of FBC Mortgage, LLC. Joe served as CEO and President of Sterne Agee, an investment banking firm based in Birmingham Alabama. Prior to co-founding FBC Mortgage LLC in 2005, Joe was the SVP/District Manager for First Horizon Home Loans (FHN NYSE), a NYSE listed from October 2003 until November 2005.

Joe was a shareholder and Vice President at American Heritage Mortgage Corp. from June 1989 until October 2003. Joe currently serves on the boards of the Seminole County Sheriff Foundation, Orange County Sheriff Foundation, Orlando Police Foundation, Osceola County Sheriff Foundation, The Advent Hospital Foundation, and the FBC Mortgage Charitable Foundation. He is a Founding Director of One Florida Bank and has served on the boards of Florida Bank of Commerce, Sunshine State Bank (SBCP NASDAQ), Southern Community Bank, 5/3rd Bank of Central Florida (FITB NASDAQ), MBA’s Legislative Committee, YPO, City of Longwood Board of Adjustment, Governor DeSantis’s Council 100, and the Leukemia Society. He received his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of South Florida, CMB from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, and completed the Executive Learning course “Improving Operational Resilience” from the London Business School.

Joe was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year by The Orlando Business Journal and was chosen as one of Florida’s Businessmen to Watch. He has been a contributor to CNBC, Newsweek, Fox News, and CF News 13. Joe lives in Central Florida with his wife and three children.
