Terms and Conditions

The following rules govern the E-PASS $100 in tolls sweepstakes being conducted by the Central Florida Expressway Authority beginning on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 12:00AM and ending on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11:59PM. All time EST.

1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To participate in the sweepstakes, please follow one of the methods below:

Open a new E-PASS account between December 4, 2023 and December 15, 2023 online at GetEpass.com or on the E-PASS Toll app, via phone at (407) 823-7277, at the E-PASS walk-in customer service center, or drive-up Reload Lane.
Existing customers can enter the promotion online at GetEpass.com beginning December 4, 2023 at 12:00AM EST and concluding December 15, 2023 at 11:59PM EST.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

All valid entries will be registered to win. There will be twelve (12) drawings – each for $100 in toll credit – with twelve opportunities to win. Limit one entry per E-PASS account. Multiple entries from the same individual will only be counted once. Only one prize per family, per household, per account. Existing customers are eligible to enter as described above. All drawings will be completed no later than December 22, 2023.

All entries submitted will be the sole property of the Central Florida Expressway Authority and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

The sweepstakes is open to all persons 18 or older. Employees of the Central Florida Expressway Authority, Board Members, consultants, concessionaries, contract employees, or immediate family members (spouse or child) are not eligible to win.

Participants are required to provide truthful information to win. Any attempt to obtain more than one entry or prize by using fictitious email address, identities, registrations, and/or logins, or any other methods will disqualify the entrant.

3. SWEEPSTAKES AWARD

Twelve (12) one hundred dollar ($100) credits for E-PASS tolls will be awarded via random drawing to be applied to the winner’s E-PASS account.

There is no substitution, transfer, cash redemption, or cash equivalent for the $100 credit. The prizes are expressly limited to the items listed above, and unless otherwise expressly specified. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Accounts closed will not be paid the balance of any toll prize credit remaining on the account.

The $100 in tolls may not be applied toward previously unpaid tolls. The winner must have an active, valid E-PASS account in good standing to accept the $100 in tolls.

The odds of winning are determined by the number of total entries.

4. CONDITIONS

All decisions made by the Central Florida Expressway Authority will be final.

This sweepstakes is governed by and subject to the laws of the State of Florida and the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

CFX reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time. If the sweepstakes is terminated before the original end date, those participating in the sweepstakes will still be eligible to receive the sweepstakes award.

CFX reserves the right to use the winner’s first name and city of residence when announcing contest results on all CFX-owned and managed social media sites, websites, and in monthly newsletters.

Prizes are contingent upon being compliant with these official rules and fulfilling all other requirement as set forth in the E-PASS Licensing and Use Agreement.

CFX accept no responsibility for entries which are lost, misdirected or delayed for any reason and nor is any responsibility assumed for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information.

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of actions arising out of, or connected with, the toll giveaway or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the Ninth Circuit Court located in the State of Florida. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the toll giveaway, shall be governed by, and constructed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Florida or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Florida.

Florida has a very broad public records law (F.S. 119). All electronic messages to and from Expressway Authority are kept as a public record. Your entry into this contest via an online form, including your e-mail address, may be disclosed to the public and media at any time, upon a public record’s request.
