Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
An ACFR includes government financial statements that exceed the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles and thereby furthering financial transparency.
The ACFR is presented in three main sections:
- Introductory: A financial overview, discussion on economy and organization charts.
- Financial: Auditor’s report, management’s discussion and analysis, audited basic financial statements, notes to the financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Statistical: Selected unaudited economic, financial trend and demographic information.
The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to Central Florida Expressway Authority by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
