The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) will expand its regional network to include Brevard County under House Bill 299 signed into law today by Governor Rick Scott. HB 299 makes Brevard County a member of CFX’s Governing Board effective July 1, 2017 joining Lake, Orange,
CFX is conducting Concept, Feasibility and Mobility Studies of four, previously studied transportation corridors to determine if they are viable and fundable in accordance with CFX policies and procedures. The corridors are in Osceola County, with small portions in Orange and Polk counties.

CFX Board votes unanimously to adopt a $1.6 billion work plan, the largest ever in the agency’s history. The plan will fund capital and maintenance improvements to CFX’s expressways over the next five years.
