Where does E-PASS work?
The E-PASS Sticker and CollegePass stickers can be used on all toll roads in Florida, as well as in Georgia and North Carolina. In Florida, look for the E-PASS, SunPass, or LeeWay logo when entering a toll road.
E-PASS Uni works in 19 states—from Florida to Maine and west to Minnesota—and is fully compatible with E-PASS, SunPass, LeeWay, PeachPass, NC QuickPass, E-ZPass, RiverLink, and I-PASS toll systems.
Do I need an E-PASS account, or can I pay cash for tolls?
All Florida toll roads are fully electronic, and cash is no longer accepted. To travel on these roads, you’ll need an E-PASS account and transponder to pay tolls automatically at discounted rates, or you’ll receive a Pay By Plate invoice by mail. Pay By Plate rates are double the E-PASS electronic toll rate and do not include E-PASS benefits.
You can open an E-PASS account through the E-Pass toll app, online, by phone, or at the E-PASS Customer Service Center.
What are Volume Toll Discounts?
If you’re a frequent traveler, E-PASS exclusive Volume Toll Discounts can help you save up to an additional 25% on monthly tolls on Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) expressways.
E-PASS customers are automatically enrolled, and savings are credited to your account on the 15th of each month. There are no monthly transaction or processing fees—just keep your account in good standing to receive the savings.
Do I need more than one transponder per vehicle?
No. You only need one active transponder per vehicle. Using more than one transponder in the same vehicle may result in duplicate toll charges.
How do I install my E-PASS transponder?
Place your E-PASS Sticker, CollegePass, or Uni transponder on the inside of your windshield directly behind the rearview mirror. Click here to view detailed installation instructions. If you are using a Uni transponder and move it between vehicles, including rental cars, you must update your vehicle details in your E-PASS account each time to ensure the transponder is correctly linked to the vehicle in use.
Proper placement is important. If the transponder is not installed correctly, it may not be read at toll points, and you could receive a Pay By Plate invoice at a higher toll rate. Transponders must be mounted on the windshield as outlined in the user agreement.
Some vehicles with certain glass features may require a bumper mounted transponder. If you experience issues, contact your vehicle dealer or E-PASS Customer Service for assistance.
Are there monthly or annual fees?
No. E-PASS does not charge monthly or annual account fees. You are only charged for the tolls incurred by your registered vehicle.
