Expressway Extension
Project Overview
The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is designing the State Road 414 Expressway extension. The 3.7-mile project will provide a direct connection between the eastern end of the SR 414 (John Land Apopka Expressway) and Interstate 4 (I-4). The project will improve system connectivity between SR 429 and I-4 to meet current and future traffic needs, improve safety, and support commercial transit.
This project will feature an elevated, limited-access expressway within the median of the existing SR 414 (Maitland Boulevard) to provide needed capacity between US 441 and I-4.
