Governor Rick Scott Appoints Two To Central Florida Expressway Authority

(TALLAHASSEE, FL) Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Jay Madara and Shawn “Michael” Scheeringa to the Central Florida Expressway Authority.

Madara, 43, of Windermere, is the chief financial officer of The Golf Channel. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2014, and ending June 20, 2018.

Scheeringa, 46, of Windermere, is the president and chief executive officer of BBA Aviation Flight Support. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning December 1, 2014, and ending June 20, 2018.

Governor Scott said, “I’m happy today to appoint Jay Madara and Michael Scheeringa to the Central Florida Expressway Authority. I am confident that both Jay and Michael will work diligently to keep the cost of living low for Florida families.”
