Alternative Corridor Public Workshop Announced For State Road 408 Eastern Extension PD&E Study

The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for the State Road 408 (Spessard L. Holland East-West Expressway) Eastern Extension from State Road 50 to the State Road 50/State Road 520 Intersection in east Orange County. The study’s objective is to help CFX reach a decision on the type, design, location and feasibility of the potential eastern extension of State Road 408.

The meeting will be an Open House format from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. All interested persons are encouraged to attend. The purpose of this workshop is to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the new corridor alternatives developed for the PD&E study. Representatives from the PD&E study team will be present to answer questions concerning the display boards and the alternatives evaluation process. Participants will be able to review information and discuss the study with project staff during the meeting.
