The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) today announced that it would extend toll discounts to commercial fleet operators using Bestpass, a nationwide toll management service with an estimated 250 subscribers in Florida.
Beginning in early 2018, Bestpass transponder users will pay the same reduced toll rates as CFX’s E-PASS customers. Motorists with E-PASS save an average of 23 percent on tolls. Meanwhile, Albany, NY-based Bestpass, which manages its subscribers’ toll accounts, will process payments to CFX.
“The commercial fleet industry relies on Bestpass and CFX expressways,” said Laura Kelley, executive director of CFX. “So it makes good business sense for us to work with Bestpass to help save their customers money on tolls. CFX plays a vital role in the cost-effective transport of goods throughout Central Florida.”
