CFX Opens New State Road 417/Florida’s Turnpike Ramps

(ORLANDO, FL) On Monday, January 26, the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) will open two new ramps between State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) and Florida’s Turnpike (State Road 91), providing drivers with the first-ever direct connections between these two major roadways. The new ramps, connecting southbound State Road 417 to southbound Florida’s Turnpike and northbound Florida’s Turnpike to northbound State Road 417. There will not be toll plazas on the new ramps.

Before the ramps open, drivers must use local roads to access Florida’s Turnpike from State Road 417. The new ramps will make it easier and more convenient for motorists to travel between the two expressways and will improve access to Orlando International Airport and the “Medical City” facilities in the Lake Nona area from south Orange and Osceola Counties.

The new ramps complete the first phase of a planned full interchange that will provide full access between State Road 417 and Florida’s Turnpike.
