Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington was unanimously elected Vice Chair of the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) Governing Board by his fellow Board members at the agency’s meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Commissioner Arrington has served as Osceola County’s representative on the CFX Governing Board since October 14, 2019.
Commissioner Arrington was also selected to serve as CFX’s official representative at the MetroPlan Orlando Board by the CFX Governing Board at Thursday’s meeting. Commissioner Arrington had previously served as CFX’s alternative representative at the MetroPlan Orlando Board.
The CFX Governing Board has seven local elected officials, representing the counties of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole, the City of Orlando, three governor appointees, and the executive director of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise as a non-voting advisory member.
