Sean Parks, Lake County District 2 Commissioner, was unanimously elected Chairman of the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) Governing Board by his fellow Board members at the agency’s meeting on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Commissioner Parks previously served as Vice Chair and has been on CFX’s board for four years.
Also at Thursday’s meeting, the Board unanimously elected Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings as Vice Chair, and Seminole County Commissioner Lee Constantine as Treasurer.
The CFX Governing Board has seven local elected officials, representing the counties of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole, the City of Orlando, three governor appointees, and the executive director of Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise as a non-voting advisory member.
